In the city of temples lies Bhaktapur Durbar square. During the peak, bhaktapur durbar was the largest among the 3 durbar squares in the capital kathmandu valley of Nepal. The Nyatapola Temple is among the beautiful architectures of this durbar square. Nyatapola is the tallest pagoda style temple of Nepal. Its name translates to "five storeys" in Newari language (one of major languages of Kathmandu valley ). This temple is dedicated to lord Shiddhilaxmi. This temple is an pioneer structure signifying archeological beauty and significance of Nepal. The heavenly monument is made broader in foundation and is made gradually slender at the top. The statues lining in the sides of the stairs are the guardians of Nyatapola.
